The photographer wants us to all be at Red Butte by 4:30. she said 4:00...but I think if we shoot for 4:00, we should get started with family pics by 4:30. These people do weddings a lot...so I guess we must comply with their time frame. I think it's going to be lovely. Just lovely.

Don't Worry

We are no longer going to Puerto Vallarta Mexico for our honeymoon. We're headed to Costa Rica instead which is much farther South near Panama. So don't worry. Even if the epidemic reaches Costa Rica by the time we get there, we will be more than happy quarantined in our hotel room.

-I'm going through the temple on May 1st. I'd love for you all to be there. Let me know if you can.

-The actual wedding ceremony on the 8th will be at 1:40.

-We're having a wedding dinner at Tucano's Brazilian Grill the night before. ( Thursday, May 7th) I'll post the details and a schedule when we get closer to the date.

-Derek and I have finally finished registering. What a process. We did the whole Target and Bed Bath and Beyond thing. We're even registered at REI. That makes us sound really greedy doesn't it? Although if you ask Derek where we registered, he'll probably just mention REI. :)

-That's all for now. These are busy times. Fun though.

Attention wives of John, Travis, Alex Knudsen, Dave, Gerry, Darren, Chris, & Jared: I found these great green and blue ties at JC Penny. I think I'll put the Swanson adult brothers in the blue (as per Derek's suggestion) and the Williams brothers in the green. If they have black slacks and shoes and a white shirt, that'd be great. If not...they can just wear whatever works. Oh my...handsomeness.

Little Boys

My mom is getting bow ties for the little boys 9 and under. If you have white shirts and black pants for them that'd be great. But again...this is all optional. Optional...but cute.

Sisters

Here's a pic of me wearing one of the shirts I bought for the adult sisters to wear. I thought we could pair them with black skirts and shoes. If the neckline is too low, we can just pin them or wear black camisoles underneath. They have a simple, thin tie in the back.

If you don't like it you really don't need to wear it. No pressure. You could do a plain white shirt instead. Or you could even just wear whatever you like and that would be fine. Let me know if you'd like a shirt and what size you think you'd need. I have small, med, large and extra large. (I'm wearing a medium in the pic).

My sister Amy is making blue and green sashes for all the little girls under 8 to wear with white dresses. She's also going to be making some red flower barrettes for their hair. Oh for cute.

If you can find white dresses for your little girls to wear that'd be wonderful. Amy found a few online that you can check out. She also found a McCalls pattern you could use if you'd rather make one.

If you decide you'd rather not do it...that is also fine. No worries.
